Materials Needed
Most of the materials needed are on this Blick U list.
2 matching 1/8” plexiglas (8” x 8”, 8” x 10” or 10” x 10”) beveled is preferred but not necessary
These can be found at your local plastics place or on Amazon. Sometimes, your local frame shop will have good scraps of 1/8” plexiglas as well.
Bring any templates or textiles you would like to emboss into your printing plate.
The studio is fully equipped with most everything but feel free to bring any other tools you prefer using with encaustic.
You can also purchase materials at our local art supply store in Astoria
